FAQ - Help for the publisher

Welcome to the FAQ section for the Conteo Publisher

Whether logging in, creating content or uploading media - here you will find step-by-step instructions on how to publish your content efficiently and maximize your visibility at the trade fair.

If you cannot find a suitable answer in these FAQs or require further assistance, please send us an email. We will respond within 24 hours (Mon–Fri).

Note: If you were directed to this FAQ page by our automatic reply email and your issue has been resolved, please click on "Mark request as resolved" in the email. If the FAQ does not provide a solution, we will respond to you by email within 24 hours (Mon–Fri).

Registration and account

Please make sure you are logged out first: https://publisher.conteo.io/logout.

  • If you received an onboarding email or reminder email, click on the link in the email and follow the instructions.
  • If you already have a Conteo Publisher account, go to https://publisher.conteo.io/login and follow the instructions. You can request a login link if you don't know your password. 

Enter your email address when logging in and select "Send access data." You will receive a one-time access link via email:

After logging in, you can change your password in the account settings under “My Account”:

Please check your spam folder. Certain organizations use greylisting to combat spam, which may result in our emails taking a certain amount of time to reach you.

If you are already logged in, go to “My Account > Settings” and update your user information.

If you are not logged in yet, open https://publisher.conteo.io/loginand follow the instructions.

If you are able to log in with your "old" login details, you can update your access details yourself in the settings.

Posts – Create, edit, manage, copy

Whether your published posts can be edited directly depends on the publishing platform's settings. To do this, go to  Posts & Events > Your content and check the context menu on the right to see which of the following options is enabled:

  • Edit : You can edit the published post directly.

  • Change Requests : This option creates an email message for us. Please let us know the affected post and the desired changes/additions.

Our gallery supports YouTube and Vimeo links. Upload your videos to one of these platforms and then link them in the post gallery.

  • Post gallery : at least 720 × 1080 px, better 1920 × 1080 px

  • Contact person : at least 500 × 500 px

One language version of your post isn't complete yet. Make sure the title and teaser have a valid length for all translations of your post and that at least one image or video is included in the gallery.

Upgrades and Credits

After you start creating a post, it will be saved as a draft and the credit will be deducted.

Therefore, first check whether you have any drafts.

If you have used up your credits for your posts, you can purchase additional credits in Publisher under Posts & Events (provided this feature is activated):

You can easily book upgrades directly within the publisher. You'll find the corresponding options in the left-hand sidebar of the publisher.
